Mammography remains the gold standard for early detection of breast cancer. Our service has state-of-the-art digital mammography systems, along with latest 3D tomosynthesis technology which is available at our breast screening assessment clinic.

What is digital mammography and its benefits?

Digital mammography uses computer to generate images, allows instant visualization and manipulation of the images, so the abnormality can be seen easily.

The benefits are:

Less time under compression to improve patient comfort, lowering the risk of motion.

Clinically superior exams with comparable radiation dose to conventional 2D imaging.

More time efficient compare to conventional film screen mammography.
