Pink Ribbon Motorcycle Ride Revs Up!

 

pinkribbon The 2011 Pink Ribbon Ride is on Sunday 23rd October and departs from The Mean Fiddler, Rouse Hill. The Pink Ribbon Motorcycle Ride is a sponsored charity ride designed to enable the motorcycling community of NSW to join together, enjoy a fantastic ride and raise money to help Westmead Breast Cancer Institute in the fight against Breast Cancer.

Public Forum 2011

Moving Forward: Surviving Breast Cancer

The BCI's 2011 Public Forum was called Moving Forward: Surviving Breast Cancer and featured an expert panel discussing many of the issues that patients face at the completion of treatment and strategies to deal with those issues.

The Public Forum, held earlier this year is being rebroadcast, by public demand, on November 22nd at 8pm (AEDT).

This conference will celebrate twenty years of the Australian Breast Cancer Screening Program, showcasing learnings & innovative solutions to the challenge of breast screening in Australia and examining opportunities for further developments. The conference program will explore major themes, including breast density, digital imaging, sustainable workforce creation and recruitment of hard to reach women –spanning topics from breast imaging technology to changes in everyday clinical practice.

 
Ray of Hope Breakfast - a great morning

The Ray of Hope Breakfast, held at the Waterview Convention Centre on Saturday 23 October 2010, was a great success with approximately 200 people in attendance. The annual event, organised by the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute (BCI), is a celebration of life for women and men affected by breast cancer and their family and friends
