And if you don’t find a cancerous lump in your breast until it’s bigger than a cherry, there’s a 50% chance you could die from it, if it has already spread to your glands under your armpit. However, if you detect breast cancer with a BreastScreen mammogram when it's the size of a pea or smaller, the likelihood that you will die falls as low as 3% if it is still contained to your breast.
