The Westmead Breast Cancer Institute RAY OF HOPE Inaugural DinnerThe Ray of Hope Dinner, a Prestigious Event to fund a new digital BreastScreen mobile van, a part of the BCI Sunflower Clinic network, was held on August 13 2009 at the prestigious Art Gallery of NSW.
Set amidst some of the world’s greatest art, the Ray of Hope Dinner was an intimate, elegant and sophisticated occasion of fine dining, music and conversation hosted by Channel 9's News Presenter and MC Kellie Connolly.
The pre-sold out event raised more than $300,000 through the generous support of corporate table purchasers, in kind product donors and an Art of Hope Art Raffle held on the night which raised $25,000 in cash by raffling five gifted paintings from 5 noted award winning female artists.Click here to find out more about the Art of Hope 2009.
The Westmead Breast Cancer Institute wishes to thank all of the volunteers, BCI staff and all involved who helped make this inaugural dinner and the Ray of Hope Fundraising Campaign a great success.
